Hackensack, New Jersey – Eastern DataComm, voice, video and data networking managed service provider, has announced the expansion of its service offerings to include a network performance monitor.
Eastern DataComm (EDC) now offers Apparent Networks’ PathView network performance monitor. This product allows EDC to remotely monitor its customers’ networks in real-time. PathView monitors key needs such as jitter, packet loss, latency, QoS, MOS score for VoIP, bandwidth available, bandwidth utilized and more. It does not require reconfiguration of the network or an Ethernet switch.
The product includes a robust web portal access for management, including the ability to view performance, add paths, set thresholds, see violations and more. It sends immediate or summary notifications of any violations as they occur, as well as an in-depth, on-demand and historical reporting via the web portal.
Once PathView is set up, EDC is available to assists its customers in managing service, changing parameters and understanding the information reported. Should a network issue be detected, EDC is available to review and discuss the findings and troubleshoot.
